The Alkathene Cup
The alkathene cup portion is secured to background with a no. 6 round head screw for the medium or a no. 8 screw for the jumbo (See Diagram A).

The Acrylic Stud
The acrylic stud has a point enabling the sign letter to be pressed onto a paper layout which provides an accurate drilling guide for the background. For narrower letter strokes, the base diameter of the medium stud can be reduced to 11mm (to match socket) by snapping off along 'v' section grooves with cutters.

Stud Adhesive
For acrylic flat cut or built up letters or panels, adhese the stud with any acknowledged acrylic cements or solvents that provide a chemical bond. For wood or aluminium, contact adhesives or very heavy bond tape pads are recommended provided that the manufacturers directions for use are followed. For adhesing to glass or porcelain use recommended Epoxy Resin adhesives and follow makers instructions.
